BluSeed Studios’ Artist in Residence Guidelines
Residencies are by invitation and/or recommendation only. In general candidates’ must hold a minimum BFA or BFA equivalent (BA studio arts). MFA preferred. Artists are encouraged to stay for three months, but no less than two weeks.
As a BluSeed Artist-in-Residence you will have full access to all the studios. Each Artist-in–Residence agrees to act in the mutual benefit of BluSeed Studios and your own professional development and to follow all policies.

Residency Costs are as follows:
BluSeed Studio offers partial support to those who qualify. Such support is based on merit and need. Support can include a scholarship of up to $250 and/or a work assistance program that is valued at $15/hour for up to 8 hours per week.

Residencies that include living quarters are based on single occupancy and are open only to individuals. Artist who wish to take part in the residency program with their guests/partners must find lodging outside of BluSeed Studios.
Application Process:
Any individual wishing to be considered for a Residency will submit a detailed plan of their residency, a current resume, and a portfolio of their work. Applications should be directed to the Artistic Director of BluSeed Studios.
