Intermediate/Advanced Ceramics: "Fire Breathing Dragon"
Every Thursday night for 8 weeks, 6-9 pm, from Sept. 24th to Nov. 12th.
Ceramic Artist Peter Shrope will conduct an eight-week class this fall at Bluseed Studios that encourages personal growth and exploration for intermediate to advanced ceramic students. This class will focus on personal technique, form and glaze chemistry; all centered on using the new gas fired kiln.
The addition of the new gas fired kiln significantly broadens the capabilities of Bluseed’s ceramic facilities. The Olympic gas-fired kiln produces results that are significantly different than the electric kiln. It is a tool to use, a technique to learn and offers an extraordinary experience to all students wishing to further their knowledge of the ceramic process. Be prepared to have your expectations tested.
Join Peter in this new and exciting class to develop your skills, broaden your knowledge and learn to use the new gas fired kiln.
The class will be held every Thursday night for 8 weeks, 6-9 pm, from Sept. 24th to Nov. 12th
